Important Information for Candidate Teachers
Edluxio is a marketplace for tutoring where teachers meet students and teach 1-on-1 online lessons.
You set your tutor price and schedule. Students can book a test session first and continue with packages.
Test sessions are not paid to teachers.
Platform commission (20%) covers:
- Taxes and invoicing support
- Advertising and student acquisition
- Operations and administration
- Payment processing and currency exchange
- Legal compliance and dispute handling
Part B - Instructor Terms (Independent Contractor Agreement)
1. Relationship; No Employment; No Agency
- You provide services as an independent contractor.
- You are not an employee, agent, or legal representative of Innovadrift.
- You are responsible for your taxes, registrations, and compliance in your jurisdiction.
2. Instructor Account and Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract.
- You must provide accurate information and maintain account security.
- Additional safeguards apply for lessons involving minors.
3. Providing Lessons
- You control your teaching methods and availability.
- You must deliver lessons professionally and safely.
- Off-platform solicitation and payment diversion are prohibited.
